The hotel is well situated for access to the town, the old naval museum and the marina facilities. Our room had a double bed and two singles, although we only required the double. We couldn't find a restaurant we liked in the town, so unusually for us, we ate at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The meal was very good and very reasonably priced and the restaurant staff most helpful.
There was no air conditioning, which made the room a little uncomfortable during the night and in keeping with most French hotels, there was no hot drink facility in the room. The hotel does not appear to have it's own car park but there is a free car park immediatley adjacent to the hotel which runs along the front of the hotel. If it belongs to the hotel, this is not clear, as it enjoys a lot of local use.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Rochefort for a few days. The location was perfect, right on the edge of town, making it convenient for walking to the nearby sites and restaurants. The hotel had a car park right outside the door, and even though it was a paid parking, it was free from 18.00 to 09.00. Alternatively, there was free street parking available in the immediate vicinity. The hotel bar had reasonable prices, and the staff at the reception were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. The room I stayed in was on the first floor, room 114, and it had a small balcony. The bathroom was large and had a great shower. The room also had a large flat-screen TV and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a good selection of items. I also appreciated that dogs were allowed at the hotel. the hotel's location, amenities, and friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, and I would be happy to stay there again.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

All the hotel staff were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely holiday. We had our young son with us and they were very good at suggesting local attractions suitable for him.
It is a pity that there were no tea/coffee making facilities within the room although this didn't detract from our stay.

We had a great stay at this comfortable hotel, conveniently located near the town center and marina. the reception staff was helpful and friendly, and our room was clean, spacious, and had a nice balcony with a view. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, either inside or outside on the terrace, on a wonderful warm evening. the hotel also has good parking facilities.
The night porter could be a bit more polite and amiable.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a large bathroom with a good shower. The bed was comfortable too, and we had an enjoyable stay. The breakfast selection was great, and the price was reasonable. The hotel's staff was very nice and helpful.
The absence of air conditioning made our room incredibly hot, even with the fan provided. This was especially challenging during the summer months.
